Hi! I’m Coach Cutler.
I have worked in the fitness industry since 1991 doing just about anything you can think of...not to mention managing multi-million dollar facilities where thousands of people come through each day.
I’ve got degrees (BS and MS in Exercise and Sports Sciences from the University of Florida) I have or have had multiple certifications (USA Triathlon Coach, CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist), Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard, Group Exercise instructor, Spin instructor…)
Are you still reading this?
Here is what this means for you...I will help you achieve your fitness/wellness goals in the way it works best for you, grounded in science. I will meet you where you are and help encourage and support you on your journey to achieving things you never thought possible. Whether it is about losing weight, finishing an IronMan, completing your first 5K, or setting a new best time, I will support you in the way YOU find helpful. Need a daily check-in? Hate using connected fitness technology? Don’t want to speak in technical jargon? Don't want to invest in fancy gear? I am for you. And if you do want all of these things...I can do that too!
**Low technology, no jargon, easily accessible, realistic, fit into your life**
Want to join me in a workout…for free?
Drop me a line and we can plan a meet-up at a local workout.
Can I relate to you? Maybe…
I spent the first 25 years of my life overweight…but also active, and relatively happy. However, even with all my degrees and training, I battled my weight and couldn’t run a mile to save my life. Then BOOM, something inside me clicked, and I realized I had the power and knowledge inside myself to change my life. I lost 35 pounds over a two-year period and went from barely jogging a mile to winning my age group in a 5K to being a member of the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Triathlon Team in San Diego. Since then I have achieved some things including:
50+ triathlons ranging from sprint to IronMan (winning and/or placing in many of them)
Qualified for USA Triathlon Age group nationals in 2008 and 2017
Trail races ranging from 5K to half marathon (up mountains)
Road races ranging from 1 mile to marathon (including NYC)
Random and fun events like 120 mile bike tours, 2 mile ocean swims, and overnight relays
